Intergenerational Programs

Young and old coming together to learn from each other…

Connecting Schools, Corporations and Retirement Villages

Inclusive. Accessible. Adaptable.

Fostering understanding, empathy, and wellbeing across generations.

Our intergenerational program connects children and older adults to build empathy, wellbeing, and stronger community relationships. These sessions create a warm, welcoming space where generations meet as equals, sharing wisdom, stories, curiosity, and care.

Through guided activities, including sensory experiences, nature walks, creative projects, and memory sharing, participants enjoy meaningful moments that reduce loneliness, boost emotional wellbeing, and encourage positive social connection. Children grow in confidence and communication, while older adults experience companionship, purpose, and joy.

A simple, powerful way to bring generations together and strengthen community wellbeing.

Come together, celebrate eachother, and build lasting connections.

Bringing generations together enhances wellbeing, strengthens community & reminds us of shared values.
It helps both young and old feel seen, valued, and connected.

  • Benefits for Young People

+Strengthens emotional intelligence, empathy, and communication skills.

+Provides valuable life lessons and intergenerational understanding.

    +Encourages respect, patience, and curiosity.

+Supports mental wellbeing through calm, nature-based engagement.

Our program helps children build empathy, confidence, leadership, and communication skills. Through meaningful interactions with older adults, students gain insight into diverse life experiences and develop genuine respect for previous generations. Shared conversations, activities, and storytelling support social development and broaden their understanding of history, culture, and community.

  • Benefits for Older People

+Reduces feelings of loneliness and social isolation as participants connect with eachother.

+Encourages movement, mindfulness, and cognitive stimulation.

+Builds a sense of purpose, belonging, and contribution.

+Offers opportunities to share life experiences and wisdom in a meaningful way.

The intergenerational program builds connections, brings joy and a sense of purpose. The sessions help reduce loneliness, an issue linked to depression, dementia, heart disease, stroke, and declining quality of life among older Australians. By forming real relationships, residents experience greater connection with both peers and students, strengthening emotional wellbeing for all involved.
